This privacy notice is provided by Rafina Plastik Ambalaj Sanayi Ticaret A.Ş. (“Rafina Plastik”) under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) to inform you about the personal data processed through our website and our contact and quote forms.

2. Personal data we process
- Identity and contact details: full name, company name, email address and phone number.
- Request details: the product or category you are interested in, estimated quantity, your message and our correspondence with you.
- Transaction security data: IP address, browser information, referring page and campaign parameters recorded when a form is submitted, together with the date and version of the notice you accepted.
- Cookie choice: your cookie consent, recorded with a random identifier that does not directly identify you and an irreversible hash of your IP address.
3. Purposes of processing
- To receive, assess and answer your quote, sample, custom formulation, site visit and technical support requests;
- to contact you about your request and conduct discussions aimed at establishing a business relationship;
- to keep the website and its forms secure and prevent spam and abusive submissions;
- to fulfil our legal obligations and respond to information requests from competent authorities;
- with your consent, to measure how the website is used and improve it.
4. Collection method and legal grounds
Your personal data is collected through the forms on our website, by email and by phone, partly by automated means, and is processed on the following legal grounds under Article 5(2) of the KVKK:
- processing is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (Art. 5(2)(c)) — answering quote and sample requests;
- processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation of the data controller (Art. 5(2)(ç));
- processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right (Art. 5(2)(e));
- processing is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (Art. 5(2)(f)) — transaction security and abuse prevention.

5. Transfers of personal data
Limited to the purposes above and to the extent required to provide the service, your personal data may be transferred to the hosting provider of the website, the email service provider that delivers form notifications, our advisers in legal disputes and, upon request, competent public authorities. Where the servers of our service providers are located abroad, transfers are carried out in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK. Data may be transferred abroad through the Google Maps view on the contact page and, if you consent, through the analytics services provided by Google LLC.
6. Retention period
Personal data submitted through the contact and quote forms is kept for 730 days (2 years) from the date of submission; after that, names, email addresses, phone numbers, messages, IP addresses and browser information are anonymised automatically. Data relating to requests that turn into a business relationship is kept for the periods required by applicable legislation. Data whose retention period has expired is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to apply to the data controller to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed,
- request information if it has been processed,
- learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,
- know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data is transferred,
- request correction if the data is incomplete or inaccurate,
- request erasure or destruction under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK,
- request that corrections, erasures and destructions be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
- object to a result against you arising from analysis of the data exclusively by automated systems,
- claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing.
8. How to apply
You can send your request in writing to our address above, together with information identifying you, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, or by email to info@rafinaplastik.com. Your request will be concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest, depending on its nature; if the process requires an additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
